It's Never Too Late to Try

THE ARTISANS VILLAGE GUILD is an invaluable help to beginners and experienced artists alike.

After retiring from Lake Oconee Presbyterian Church at the end of 2020 I decided to try painting again. I hadn't done any art work since the early 70's.

I had painted with oil and acrylic, and very briefly with watercolor. But my memory of my one and only watercolor painting was that it was difficult. But what the heck? I had plenty of time to give it another try now!

And so I began. It is still the most challenging medium to me, but when it works, it's worth the effort.
